Johannes Siebert was habilitated in behavioral operations research and decision sciences at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. He teaches Behavioral Economics, Decision Sciences, and Supply Chain Management at MCI | THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SCHOOL® in Innsbruck, Austria. His research has been published in leading international journals, including Operations Research (A+) and the European Journal of Operational Research (A). Johannes serves on the Executive Committee of the International Society on MCDM, the Coordinating Board of the European Working Group on Behavioral Operations Research, and the Editorial Board of the INFORMS journal Decision Analysis. In addition, he is a member of the Advisory Council of the Alliance for Decision Education, working alongside prominent researchers such as the late Daniel Kahneman and Richard Thaler to advance decision education for adolescents worldwide. Johannes's research aims to improve decision-making for individuals and organizations. He extends the concept of classical nudging with Ralph Keeney by empowering people to become their own "decision architects." In his TEDx Talk, Nudge yourself to make better decisions, he presented these ideas to a broad audience. Johannes is a sought-after keynote and TEDx speaker, a regular guest contributor to Focus Online in Germany. Throughout his career, he has secured more than one million euros in third-party funding and consulted public and private organizations in Europe and the United States on research-driven projects.
