The City
Leeuwarden is the capital city of the province Friesland in the norther part of the Netherlands. The city has approx. 110,000 inhabitants. 2018 Leeuwarden will be the European Capital of Culture.
The University
Stenden University of Applied Sciences has different campii in the Netherlands and other parts of the world (Indonesia, Qatar, South Africa an Thailand). MCI students will study at the main campus in Leeuwarden. Stenden UAS offers a number of degrees in English. The "Hogeschool" does a lot of marketing in Germany and therefore has also a significant number of students coming from this country.
