MCI hosts 32nd CEEMAN Conference in Innsbruck

From September 25-27, MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® hosted the 32nd CEEMAN Annual Conference in Innsbruck, uniting global leaders to explore "Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age." The conference brought together discussions on digital transformation, AI, and innovative business models, creating a vibrant exchange of ideas.

CEEMAN’s signature event brings together deans and directors of its member and partner organizations from all over the world, focusing on topics of key importance for management development. Featuring outstanding keynotes, presentations and interactive roundtables from academia and business, the Conference also includes side events such as company visits, poster session for faculty and researchers, accreditation sessions, and the CEEMAN Annual Meeting.

The event began with visits to MED-EL and SWAROVSKI Crystal Worlds, showcasing the blend of technology and creativity in business. Followed by a lively Poster Session, igniting conversations on the latest research, while Dean2Dean meetings fostered networking and future collaboration. The evening’s Opening Ceremony, led by Danica Purg and Andreas Altmann, set a dynamic tone for the conference.

Key panels explored the role of digital tools in shaping the future of learning with a focus on AI in education. Martin H. Hörmann (Government Affairs Director (CELA), Microsoft Austria) and Thomas Monz (CEO, AQT Alpine Quantum Technologies) delivered compelling insights into AI and quantum technologies. Additionally, Best Practices from the CEEMAN Network session, showcased successful strategies in entrepreneurial education, providing attendees with actionable takeaways.

The conference concluded with opportunities to further explore Innsbruck’s rich history, including a tour of the Old Town, offering a perfect end to an inspiring event.
