Completed study program: Management & Law (Diplom)
Tobias Anslinger
When I look back at my time at MCI...
... I’m starting to realize how much time we actually had back then in spite of compulsory class attendance and numerous exams. Stress is always related to the perspective you take and the situation you are in. Ten years into my career I can now say: “It was great back then.” We were at the brink of starting to seriously get down to business, enjoying a good mix of study time, outdoor time and family time . Many colleagues from then still help me to – at least every once in a while – reignite the sentiment of the good old Innsbruck summers.
How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
The program created an interface between two established practical and academic disciplines and taught students how to best assess and at times anticipate influences, correlations and the consequences of certain business decisions. A high degree of know-how is imperative. However, know-how can quickly become obsolete, and problem solving and, above all, social skills are becoming the real determinants for business success and failure. This was an integral component of our program.
Our students share their experiences and give insights into courses, projects, and student life in the vibrant Alpine city of Innsbruck.
