Therefore, it is necessary to create structures that are not only flexible enough to withstand the change, but also suited to enable employees to live this change and meet the diverse challenges of the future.

The focus of the Human Resource Management course is on learning organizations as well as methods and tools adequate for implementation in the participants’ businesses.

After competing the certificate course, you will be able to
  • understand the most recent developments in human resource management,

  • effectively apply the instruments of innovative human resource management,

  • purposefully and consciously take on your personal role in human resource management,

  • handle socially difficult situations with competence,

  • recognize the need for development and take specific measures to exploit the company’s potentials,

  • initiate change processes and monitor them adequately.

The part-time program is designed for entrepreneurs, executives, and future decision makers working in human resources and aiming to qualify for the growing demands of their profession. It is also suited for those wishing to gain advanced knowledge of how to manage employees and teams.

We would like to encourage in particular entrepreneurs and employees with personnel responsibilities in small and medium-sized businesses who have the intention to expand and professionalize their tasks.

What awaits you?

The certificate course is a part-time course of study based on a didactic concept tailored to the needs of professional decision makers.

An excellent knowledge of modern HR management is imparted in 13 modules. They range from strategic issues, leadership processes, personnel and organizational development and people analytics to working with AI and conflict management. The course places a particular focus on modern digital recruiting approaches. Participants are provided with a practical guide on how to effectively implement methods and tools in their businesses.

The program includes 16 on-campus sessions held on Fridays and Saturdays. Please note that you will require some extra time for completing five projects as part of selected modules and your final paper.

Course Assessment

The following achievements are to be provided:

  • Project Work: serves the transfer of learning & implementation into the professional practice and deals with approaches to solutions.

  • Final Thesis: deals with operational problems and approaches to solutions.
