Industriemagazin ranks Austria’s best MBA providers: the Entrepreneurial School® is once again among the top three
For the fifth time in a row, the Industriemagazin, Austria’s specialist journal for entrepreneurs and decision makers, ranks Management Center Innsbruck among the best educational institutions in Austria: with our Executive Master’s programs in General Management and International Business we achieved second place in the magazine’s most recent MBA ranking. Carried out by the IMAD market research center on behalf of the Industriemagazin, the ranking thus testifies to the impeccable reputation of the Entrepreneurial School® as a top-notch business school and excellent provider of post-graduate education.
According to the study, MCI can be particularly proud of its growing popularity and the outstanding rate at which students would recommend the higher education institution to others. In addition to renown and image, the study also assessed the opinion of altogether 154 personnel managers and executives of leading Austrian companies as to the benefit of our Executive MBA programs; this could be found primarily in the development of personal skills and the expansion of students’ networks.
More than 80 percent of study participants considered compliance with international standards as desirable or essential, and MCI was able to excel also in this regard: it was only one of two higher education institutions in the ranking to be accredited by the renowned Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and to be awarded the FIBAA premium seal twice.
The renewed distinction strongly confirms the Entrepreneurial School®’s outstanding position in Austria, which is constantly attested by excellent results in accreditation processes, surveys, and other rankings as well as many awards and prizes. MCI has thus been distinguished not only by the European Commission, but also by the MBA Roundtable and the Campus of Excellence initiative as well as in the CHE University Ranking and Universum Ranking.
Dr. Kurt Matzler, chief scientist of the General Management Executive MBA: “The focus of this high-quality MBA program lies on entrepreneurial thinking, decision-making and action. It aims to provide executives and managers with comprehensive scientific training and practice-oriented content, enabling them to meet international challenges. A key asset of the program is its modular design by which it can be adapted to the specific expectations and needs of professional decision-makers.”
Susanne Herzog, head of MCI Executive Education: “To complement the modular Executive MBA course in General Management, we provide an International Business MBA in English. Introduced three years ago, the online study program comprises additional on-campus classes in compact form. This allows a maximum of flexibility with regard to both time and location. The program is geared towards leaders with an international background and may be combined to obtain a double degree from the renowned Royal Roads University in Canada.”
