At the recent General Assembly, Mag. Tanja Hörtnagl-Pozzo, MSc MSc, was elected, for the next three years, to the Board of Directors of the German Tourism Business Association (DGT). Tanja Hörtnagl-Pozzo succeeds Professor Anita Zehrer in this function and is the only representative of Austria in the DGT board. There she will focus, in particular, on the promotion of young talent in the tourism and leisure industry.

The head of MCI Tourism, Prof. Hubert Siller, expressed his pride and satisfaction: "The appointment of Tanja Hörtnagl-Pozzo to the DGT board is not only a great accolade for our colleague herself, but also a great honor for MCI."

The DGT has 150 members from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and sees itself as a competent point of contact for all specialist topics in the tourism industry. It promotes excellence in research and is successfully committed to intensive cooperation between science and industry.
