The SWZ Award for the MCI General Management course goes to Silvia Valentino of South Tyrol - close partnership between the Entrepreneurial School® and the South Tyrolean Business Journal for supporting company executives.
The Südtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung (SWZ), in cooperation with MCI, the "Entrepreneurial School®", announced a scholarship of €4,500 Euros to entrepreneurs, managers and junior managers in South Tyrol with the goal of supporting and promoting their professional and personal development.
With her application for the coveted scholarship, Silvia Valentino, who comes from Mals in South Tyrol, immediately made it onto the shortlist of the best applicants, where she was subsequently invited to the hearing at the MCI. There she was able to impress the jury in all respects and was unanimously chosen as the winner of this year's SWZ Award.
Silvia Valentino, a qualified teacher and psychologist, is the managing director and a founding member of the Vinschgau Social Co-operative (SOVI) in Schlanders, which supports children and young people in difficult circumstances. In order to advance the development of the care they offer and to be able to manage this economically, she applied for the scholarship for the practice-oriented business management course "General Management" at MCI.
The jury members Kurt Matzler (scientific director), Christian Pfeifer (editor-in-chief of SWZ), Susanne E. Herzog (head of MCI Executive Education) and Ulrike Fuchs (MCI press spokesperson) were instantly impressed by her enthusiasm and immense commitment for the interests of the social cooperative, but also by her professionalism and, last but not least, with her strategic considerations and wealth of ideas for future developments.
The Südtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung and the MCI warmly congratulate the winners.
