The MCI Management Center Innsbruck proudly announces exciting new additions to its comprehensive global university network. From now on, MCI students can study abroad at four additional partner universities in Canada, Sweden, Japan and England.

Brock University in Canada is a state university founded in 1964. This makes it a relatively young university, in an international context. MCI students will have the possibility to study at the Goodman School of Business, which like the MCI, has been awarded the seal of approval by the internationally renowned accreditation agency, AACSB. The Goodman School of Business is located in St. Catharines, Ontario, the largest city in the municipality of Niagara with approximately 130,000 inhabitants and home to the area's most famous attraction, the Niagara Falls. Offering the spectacle of some the most famous waterfalls in the world, the Niagara region hosts 18 million visitors annually.

MCI students will also be able to spend their semester abroad at Malmö University in Sweden, a country well known for its welfare state and progressive society, and one of which that would be of particular interest for students of social work programs. Malmö also offers an exciting environment; for example, the city is connected to Denmark by way of a spectacular sea bridge.

An even more exotic semester abroad can be spent at Tohoku University Sendai/Japan, one of the most prestigious state universities in Nippon. After the tsunami and nuclear reactor catastrophe of 2011, the empire has recovered and has regained the international spotlight by playing host to the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Olympic Summer Games 2020 in Tokyo. Tohoku University is particularly interesting to students of Business & Management and International Business & Law respectively. MCI students will be able to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity as early as October 2019.

Additionally, for MCI students of academic further education / executive education, a sensational opportunity has emerged. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with Durham University, one of the most renowned universities in England, which focuses on joint research and the exchange and deployment of professors. Among many other things, it is planned that students of the MBA programs at MCI have the opportunity to complete modules in Durham. Durham University is considered part of the English "Ivy League" and a "leading alternative to Oxford and Cambridge Universities" (The Times Good University Guide).

Susanne Lichtmannegger, Head of Internationalization at MCI, is delighted with the new additions: "We already possess an excellent portfolio of nearly 300 partner universities all over the world, which is on offer to our students, and we will continue to expand this further. Already in 2019, we have been able to conclude 10 more contracts with highly renowned universities in exciting cities, thus expanding MCI’s global partner network yet again.
