Starting with January 1st, 2021, Tyrol has a new start-up company: MCI digi.tools is a joint venture of MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® and the digitization company duftner.digital, each holding 50% share.

The start-up combines the expertise of two strong partners in the production, processing and communication of digital knowledge. Its aim is to provide companies, universities and schools with innovative learning strategies and tools.

Managing Director of the joint venture company is Mario Pfeiffer, who has more than ten years of expertise in the field of digital learning tools.

MCI digi.tools, headquartered in Innsbruck, offers digital learning solutions for organizations in all industries and of all sizes, from family-run businesses to global corporations. In addition, universities, schools and other education providers are important focus groups.

University-approved learning content as a unique selling point

At the heart of its portfolio are mobile online learning solutions based on the Micro-Learn method, including university-approved content that will be developed in the company's own content labs. In addition, MCI digi.tools trains so-called content managers who produce learning content according to quality criteria in terms of content, methodology and didactics.

MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® focuses on innovation

The Entrepreneurial School® has been aware for a long time that digital learning is an essential necessity for universities: "We set up our first online course of study as early as in 2014 and have consistently expanded our range of courses ever since. With MCI digi.tools we are expanding our portfolio in the area of mobile knowledge transfer via micro-learning. Thus, we are offering companies, universities and educational institutions exciting opportunities to pass on knowledge and information to their target groups and to evaluate learning progresses," explains Andreas Altmann, Rector of MCI.

Comprehensive individual digitization for companies

More than ten years ago, Dieter Duftner founded the duftner.digital group, which, together with the Institute of Microtraining, has specialized in the targeted implementation of digital learning content. "We know exactly which learning solutions help companies," emphasizes duftner.digital CEO Dieter Duftner. "It's all about holistic and at the same time individual digital solutions for each company - this is a megatrend that will accompany us in the coming years.”
