Federal Ministry and OeAD support study abroad in Taiwan | Two MCI students receive prestigious scholarship | Year abroad at renowned National Kaohsiung University of Science & Technology
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the OeAD, the Agency for Education and Internationalization, supports study and research projects of Austrian students in Taiwan. The aim is to promote an international research cooperation and the establishment of sustainable partnerships.
Two students from MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® received the coveted scholarship and will spend two semesters in Taiwan. Simon Poschinger and Elena Preymann, both students of International Business & Law, received the scholarship after successfully completing the multi-stage selection process for their outstanding achievements in their studies. Ralf Geymayer, Head of the Department of International Business & Law at MCI, is enthusiastic: "The stay abroad in Taiwan provides Ms. Preymann and Mr. Poschinger with unique experiences. In addition to the high academic level, Taiwan offers one of the most dynamic regions for research and development of new technologies. Last but not least, the exciting and educational cultural environment also contributes to an unforgettable experience."
Since 2021, the English-language master's program in International Business & Law has offered a double degree agreement with the "College of Management" of the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) in Taiwan. This double degree agreement enables students to earn an MBA at NKUST parallel with their MCI master's degree (MA). "Financial support is an important support and certain relief for our students during their stays abroad. Being nominated for a scholarship presents confirmation for students that they are on the right professional path," adds Leena Saurwein, Project Manager for International Relations.
