Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG is presenting the "Raiffeisen Award for Students" for the seventh time to support students during their semesters abroad. The shared appreciation of international experience and global networks serves as the basis for the award. Raiffeisen sees this as an enormous added value for Tyrol as a business location, but also for the personal development of future managers.

This year's awards go to:

- Gabriel Ellemund, student at the Department of Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering, who will spend his semester abroad at the renowned National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Taiwan with the support of Raiffeisen. The focus on energy technology and renewable energies particularly appealed to him when choosing this partner university. The opportunity to experience a completely different culture and grow personally while improving his social and language skills also motivated Ellemund in his application for the award.

- Alexander Kowatz, a student at the Department of Industrial Engineering, was drawn to the City University of Hong Kong for his semester abroad. For him, the mechanical engineering, environmental technology and also the economic development of China was the decisive factor in choosing to study abroad. Kowatz also sees China's positioning on the world market as important in the future and therefore wants to learn more about the country's language, culture and way of life during his stay abroad.
