MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® is the only university of applied sciences in Austria to once again receive two premium seals by the 'Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation' (FIBAA) at an institutional level.

The MCI has been awarded a premium seal for the legally required ‘Institutional Audit Austria’, as the Entrepreneurial School® not only fulfills the test areas of this obligatory quality assurance procedure, but also exceeds them in many areas, and the evaluators describe the institution as "outstanding and exemplary".

Furthermore, the "Institutional Accreditation: Strategic Management" was carried out on a voluntary basis and primarily examines strategy, dynamics, innovative strength, internationality and future viability. Here, too, MCI received a coveted premium seal, especially since very many criteria were exceeded and even rated as "excellent".

Award ceremony

In the festive setting of the MCI's graduation ceremony on October 16, 2021, both Premium Seals were handed over in front of 1,000 guests and 130 new MCI alumni by FIBAA Commission Chairman Jürgen Weigand, Professor and Dean of the renowned School of Management, and FIBAA Executive Director Diane Freiberger in the presence of the Head of the Science Section at the BMBWF Elmar Pichl and the MCI's Provincial Science Councilor and Chair of the MCI General Assembly Annette Leja.

FIBAA

The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), based with its office in Bonn, acts as a European accreditation agency with complementary national recognitions. A premium seal is awarded exclusively to universities that demonstrate excellent quality in the key performance areas and significantly exceed the high accreditation standards.

In the view of the FIBAA assessors, the MCI is particularly impressive, among many other criteria, for its outstanding range of courses, high academic quality, dynamic approach, and innovative measures in rapidly changing social situations, such as online teaching. The MCI's positioning as a center for academic dialog, innovation, and international encounters, which are demonstrably lived and actively cultivated, is also rated as first-class.
