Ready for takeoff: This fall, MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® launches the new bachelor's degree program "General Management" as part of its executive education activities. The innovative program, offered entirely in English, combines a high level of practical relevance with scientifically sound contents in the fields of business administration and management and is specially designed for pilots with professional experience.
Students of this brand-new program can expect a customized curriculum, which considers prior professional and academic knowledge. While core seminars and workshops take place at MCI in Innsbruck, two-thirds of the entire program are offered online to ensure a high degree of temporal and local flexibility and meet the needs of the target group in the best possible way.
In addition, students can complete their studies at their own pace without being bound to the usual semester and lecture times. Therefore, interested pilots can start their studies individually from October 2022 onwards. In fall 2023, the program also opens up for other target groups.
In the course of the individual online self-study, students are always personally supported in content-related, organizational as well as technical matters. Prof. Dr. Maria Pammer, academic director of the continuing education bachelor's program "General Management" emphasizes, "I am pleased that we can offer maximum flexibility and a high degree of individuality to the future students of this bachelor's program. However, 'individual' is not synonymous with 'alone'. Our dedicated team accompanies students in the learning process, and our competent lecturers support them in content-related questions. Through years of experience with online degree programs, we know what employed students need in order to successfully complete their studies." Mag. Susanne Herzog, Head of Executive Education at the MCI, adds, "Under the motto ‘Mentoring the motivated’, this first continuing education bachelor's degree at the Entrepreneurial School® offers qualified pilots the tailor-made, flexible opportunity to acquire the necessary tools for new career perspectives. This program, which allows to combine study and work, will enable students to expand their personal network and actively shape their future."
MCI Rector Prof. Dr. Andreas Altmann is delighted, "We launched our first online degree program in 2014 at MCI. With our new continuing education bachelor's degree in 'General Management' for pilots, we are taking another significant step in offering innovative solutions for target groups with tailored needs."
