International distinction as "Academic Leader of the Year" for exemplary development work
MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck has received another prestigious award. Every year, the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), based in Bled/Slovenia, presents the prestigious "Champion of the Year Awards" in the following categories:
An international jury appointed by the CEEMAN Board decides on the winners. MCI Rector Andreas Altmann received the award at the 30th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Bled/Slovenia.
In a moving laudatory speech, CEEMAN President Danica Purg paid tribute to the exemplary development work of the long-serving Rector of the Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck. Based on a clever strategic positioning, he had succeeded in leading an extremely efficient academic institution from virtually nothing into bright heights.
According to Danica Purg, MCI enjoys an outstanding international reputation and stands for quality in teaching and research, innovative strength, a solid business base and an exemplary entrepreneurial spirit. She emphasized that these and other qualities attribute above all to MCI Rector Andreas Altmann, whose name is highly respected in the academic world and whose expertise is relied upon internationally.
In his acceptance speech, MCI Rector Andreas Altmann pointed out the special quality, efficiency and commitment of the MCI team, who are a pleasure to work with every day. He also pointed out that universities have a very special responsibility when it comes to solving the burning issues of our time and shaping the future. In his opinion, the award belongs to all those who give their best every day to help others realize their dreams.
