In recognition of their outstanding achievements in research and teaching and exemplary contributions to the further development of the Entrepreneurial School®, the MCI recently awarded professorships to Anita Onay (Industrial Engineering & Management) and Michael Razen (Business & Management), and the associate professorship to Martina Kohlberger (Business & Management).
Prof. Anita Onay, PhD
Anita Onay holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Innsbruck, specializing in production management. She also worked at her alma mater at the Institute for Information Systems, Production Management and Logistics as a lecturer and research assistant. In 2016, she found her way to the MCI and initially worked as a Teaching & Research Assistant. Since 2018, she has been a lecturer at the MCI Department of Industrial Engineering & Management in both the bachelor's and master's degree programs, focusing on production simulation, production planning and control as well as lean production.
Prof. PD Michael Razen, PhD
Michael Razen completed his bachelor's degree in Management and Economics at the University of Innsbruck, followed by a master's degree in Finance and Economics at the London School of Economics. He obtained his doctorate at the University of Innsbruck, where he worked for several years in the Department of Banking and Finance and habilitated in 2023. Since July 2023, Michael Razen has been Head of the Department of Business & Management at MCI and is responsible for the bachelor's program Business & Management for Professionals and the master's program International Business & Management.
Assoc. Prof. Martina Kohlberger, PhD
After completing her diploma in Business Consulting Professions at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, she worked in HR management and leadership development in various international companies such as IBM and GE before returning to academia and teaching in 2020 to complete her PhD in Management in 2023. Prior to that, she had already been working at the University of Innsbruck since 2012 and as a lecturer at the MCI Department of Business & Management since 2019, focusing her research and teaching on human resource management, organizational development and diversity management.
