Scholarship supports MCI students for stays abroad | Excellent academic success and ambitious future plans impress jury

Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG is presenting the tenth "Raiffeisen Award for Students" to support MCI students during their semesters abroad. The shared appreciation of international experience and global networks serves as the basis for the award, which creates added value for Tyrol as a business location, but also for the personal development of future leaders.

Due to outstanding academic achievements, convincing future plans, and international ambitions, this year's award goes to:

Florian Rapaic | Master Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering

Florian Rapaic will spend his time abroad at the University of Guelph in Canada. The university's international reputation and excellent research projects in the field of energy sciences were decisive factors in his choice. Furthermore, he is looking forward to working with students and researchers who want to drive innovation in sustainable energy solutions.

After graduation, the master's student would like to gain experience in established organizations in the energy sector. His longer-term goal is to set up his own consultancy firm in order to help shape a more sustainable future.

Philipp Zieroff | Master Management, Communication & IT

Philipp Zieroff will spend his semester abroad at the University of Technology Sydney. In addition to excellent teaching and high-quality courses, he can look forward to a lively campus, a diverse metropolis, and cultural exchange. He also hopes to be able to refine his English skills in daily use.

His future plans after graduation lie in the consulting sector, putting particular emphasis on opportunities for his personal development. He aspires to take on management responsibility, support colleagues, and make a positive impact on his environment.

"Supporting young talent has a long tradition at Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol, and I am delighted that we are once again able to support two students in realizing their goals this year. Both applicants have impressed us with their enthusiasm for international exchange and I would like to congratulate them on winning this year's award," says Reinhard Mayr, Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG.
