Key members of the MCI supporting institutions meet for the annual board meeting & general assembly | Farewell to Jakob Grüner, Chairman of the MZT Association and Chairman of the MCI General Assembly

MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® can report another year of dynamic progress and impressive successes at this year's board meeting and general assembly of its supporting association Management Zentrum Tirol (MZT) and the MCI General Assembly.

In 1994, the State of Tyrol, the City of Innsbruck, the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, the Tyrolean Chamber of Labor, the Federation of Austrian Industries Tyrol and the University of Innsbruck came together to pursue a joint vision: to found the MCI as an Entrepreneurial School® dedicated to building bridges between science and business, continuing academic education, the establishment of innovative study programs, internationalization, technology, employability, entrepreneurship and start-ups, tailor-made company programs, business forums, and much more.

"Who would have thought back then what a resounding success this idea would go on to be? Jakob Grüner, in particular, has played a major role in this success story in recent years. He has managed the affairs of the MZT Association and thus the MCI with enormous expertise, commitment and prudence and is now aiming to become a member of the Austrian National Council alongside his successful law firm.

The MCI supporting institutions, the MCI team, and the students and alumni would like to express their sincere thanks and wish him every success for the next steps," says MCI Rector Andreas Altmann, expressing their shared appreciation and solidarity for the successful collaboration. Finance Director Armin Tschurtschenthaler has been nominated by the State of Tyrol as Jakob Grüner's successor. "We are very much looking forward to continuing our successful cooperation," says Rector Altmann, confidently looking forward to the coming years.
