MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® has reached another major milestone: MCI has welcomed its 5,000th incoming student, represented by Daphne M. R. from the Netherlands.
Daphne comes from the renowned Erasmus University Rotterdam, a long-standing partner university of MCI, and will be attending courses in the bachelor's program of Social, Health & Public Management at MCI. She’s excited about her upcoming semester: “I’m really looking forward to spending a semester at MCI. The academic quality, the fantastic location surrounded by breathtaking mountains, and recommendations from friends are just some of the reasons I chose MCI, which has an excellent reputation in my home country.”
Together with the MCI International Relations Office, Rector Andreas Altmann welcomed the new exchange students and emphasized the importance of international collaboration at MCI: “It’s a great pleasure to welcome you to MCI. Take this opportunity to build your international network and gain valuable experiences. We wish you much success and an enriching time.”
International Relations at MCI
Since welcoming its first exchange students in 2003, MCI has significantly expanded its international activities and now hosts around 400-500 incoming students in Innsbruck each year. The Business & Management programs are particularly popular, and the number of students in Technology & Life Sciences is growing rapidly.
In addition to the considerable number of incomings, MCI now counts over 6,000 outgoings – MCI students who have completed or are currently completing a semester or year abroad. MCI also partners with over 300 universities worldwide, offers joint degrees and 24 double degrees, awards international scholarships, and organizes a variety of summer/winter schools and study tours.
