During the start of the pandemic, he stressed the importance of social media in alerting the public and also, in keeping the public informed with the latest developments on both the national and international levels. He also illustrated how powerful social media is in communicating sophisticated scientific papers and reports in a more comprehensible manner to the public. Dr. Feigl-Ding concluded the webinar by stating that the precautionary approach is still recommended in light of the latest mutations and the vaccination rates worldwide.
