The European Health Economics & Management (Eu-HEM) Master’s degree offered by MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, the Universities of Bologna and Oslo, as well as Erasmus University Rotterdam, equips students with everything they need for a career in an international environment. The program was introduced in 2012 and, already in 2015, attained accreditation as well as quality assessment by respective bodies in Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, and Norway. From 2018-2020, the Eu-HEM program was recognized as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree by the European Commission.
We are happy to announce that our 2nd online Eu-HEM Summer School has been successfully completed recently. The Summer School is normally held in the beautiful alpine surroundings of Lech in Austria but due to the continuous COVID-19 pandemic, we have created a full online program for the second time.
The Eu-HEM Summer School is a summer course where all students from all four partner universities are invited to take part in a one week workshop focusing on thesis work preparations in the context of topics within European healthcare. Students participated in online webinars, and engaged virtually with fellow students, faculty and high level practice partners from the healthcare sector.
Furthermore they were able to attend virtual recreational activities for example enjoying a relaxed morning yoga class with our local MCI Eu-HEM coordinator Sabrina Dietrich.
Thank you for a fantastic week and let’s keep fingers crossed to meet next year in Lech again!
