What do you like best?
For six weeks, we have two subjects with one MCI WEBINAR each on two evenings a week, plus workload. Then there are two presence days. You can participate in online classes from any location. Many lecturers have practical experience. In business studies, for example, we "founded" our own companies.
What skills do students need?
There is no need for previous knowledge in programming and software development. Discipline and time management can be learned. It is important to work independently, to formulate questions and be interested!
How important are multilingualism and internationality?
The fifth semester is an international one and we can spend it at various partner universities or at the MCI. The MCI offers a wide range of language courses. Most of my courses are taught in German. English, the main language in IT, also plays an important role.
What career prospects are there?
Countless! IT experts are in demand. Occupational fields are e.g. software engineering, software quality management, software consulting or IT project management.
