The cooperation with Dr. Veikko Halttunen from our partner institution, the University of Jyväskylä, is bearing its first fruits. Together with MCiT & DiBSE lecturer Stephan Schlögl and MCiT Bachelor Alumnus Raphael Weidhaas, a research paper on "Digital Content Consumption: A Finnish-Austrian Cross-Country Analysis" was developed over the past three months and presented at the MCIS Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems in Naples. Another further in-depth paper is already in preparation and will be submitted later this year.

We recently welcomed Dr. Pekka Makkonen, a lecturer from the Centria University of Applied Sciences in Kokkola, as a guest on our campus. In addition to Dr. Makkonnen's guest lecture on ICT infrastructure, the possibilities of a joint research project were also examined. So in future, in addition to the already existing regular exchange of lecturers and students, further bilateral research projects between the MCiT & DiBSE department and its Finnish university partners will take place.
