We welcome our 98 first-year students of the Bachelor's and Master's program in Management, Communication & IT to the MCI campus.
A total of 66 students met at the MCI campus for the opening of our Bachelor's program 2020, where they were warmly welcomed by the head of department, Prof. Dr. Peter Mirski, and the entire MCiT team.
The first day of the MCiT Bachelor Welcome Days was dedicated to getting to know each other. The MCiT team, which will accompany the students for the next three years on their way to the academic title Bachelor of Arts, introduced itself and the entire department. The day was rounded off with a small champagne reception, which provided the perfect opportunity to make first contacts with the new fellow students.
On the second day, our freshmen were provided with all the important information they needed for a successful start to their studies. The various services, such as the library or the Student & Career Center were also introduced. There was also an intensive introduction to our online teaching platform as well as technical support in setting up the online lecture tool. With all this information and the new MCI backpack as a welcome gift, the students successfully started their first lecture on Wednesday.
The Welcome Day for our MCiT Master also took place on Wednesday. We were able to welcome a total of 32 motivated students in Innsbruck. Prof. Dr. Peter Mirski, took the opportunity to personally welcome our new students to the MCI. After a brief introduction to the Master's program, our students were given an insight into the various MCI services and all the important tools for online teaching. They also enjoyed a small champagne reception and the MCI backpack as a welcome gift to round off the day.
The entire MCiT team is looking forward to two or three exciting and instructive years with the classes of 2020!
Our students share their experiences and give insights into courses, projects, and student life in the vibrant Alpine city of Innsbruck.
