Inaugural Lecture and Professorship to Stephan Schlögl

During his inaugural, Dr. Stephan Schlögl was awarded the professorship at the MCI Management Center Innsbruck.

After his academic studies in Management & IT and several international career stops in the research and development area, Stephan Schlögl has been teaching in our degree programs (Bachelor Management, Communication & IT and Master Management, Communication & IT) since 2013 and significantly contributes to the developments in research and teaching. His particular scientific focus lies on interaction design in connection with human language.

With his inaugural lecture "Alexa, Siri, Cortana et al. - Interaction with (Un)Social Machines", Stephan Schlögl gave the audience insights into the dynamics between humans and machines.

Together with the head of the degree programme, Prof. Dr. Peter J. Mirski, MCI Rector Andreas Altmann and the Chairman of the University College, Prof. Dr. Franz Pegger, presented the certificate of appointment. Companions, colleagues, students, friends and family congratulated him warmly!
