What to expect from the MCiT Forum 2019?

MCiT Forum 2019 promises intriguing speeches on various emerging topics in the area of AI by representatives from leading companies, debates on the controversial impacts of AI use, Master Thesis presentations and networking activities.

We are delighted that our keynote speaker will be Barbara Wittmann- Senior Director of Talent Solutions in the DACH region at LinkedIn. She will present the impact of AI on the recruiting world and give guidelines for students and companies in terms of the inevitable pervasion of AI in the recruitment process.

Three Alumni from MCI will participate in the Forum and share their experience and expert opinions. Firstly, Julian Endres- Group Enterprise Architect in Data Processing and Big Data Technology at Allianz, will focus on working with AI in the context of a corporate environment. Our second presenter Luisa Brinkschulte- a Cognitive Consultant for Watson at IBM, will share her insights on “Working in an AI environment”. Next, we will continue with a presentation of the topic “HR and Research Studies conducted by Deloitte” by Christina Bauer- Human Capital Consultant in Deloitte Consulting.

Catherine Laflamme- Research Associate at Fraunhofer Austria Research Gmbh- will also contribute to the Forum as emphasizing on the topic “Taking advantage of the complete spectrum of data science methods”.

Besides, we have integrated Master Thesis presentations from current MCiT students and a panel discussion on the controversial impacts of AI usage. Finally, to ensure a pleasant and fruitful for discussions and networking ambience, we have planned several coffees and catering breaks.
