W&M behind the scenes

Date 2021-03-05

On March 1, 2021, we were happy to welcome Sabrina Schneider as a new member of our team. We have asked her a few questions to introduce her.

Please introduce yourself quickly.

My name is Sabrina Schneider and I am happy to be a part of the MCI team since March 01, 2021. Originally, I studied business administration with a focus on finance, strategy and project management at different universities in Germany, Chile, Italy, Scotland and Sweden and later, I did my PhD on business model innovation. I worked as a project manager for many years in the fields of strategy, business development, M&A, innovation management and organizational development. Along the way, I also enjoyed working as a yoga instructor and fitness trainer. My hometown is Frankfurt am Main, and it wasn't easy for me to say goodbye. But now, I am even more looking forward to finding a new home in Innsbruck and Tyrol.

In my research I deal with ...

... the effects of digital technologies on corporate strategy and work. This includes, for example, digital and innovative business models, the collaboration of humans and artificial intelligence in decision-making, collaboration in business ecosystems, the adoption behavior of digital technologies, the interplay of technologies and social/environmental sustainability, or job and organizational design in a digital context.

In private life, I am interested ...

... in almost every kind of sports and outdoor activity - no matter if on a ski slope, wave, hiking trail, cross fit box, swimming pool or on a yoga mat. Almost always my dog is there too. Traveling is also one of my great passions.

At the moment I'm reading ...

... blogs about the conversion of an old VW Caddy into a camper J

What I like most about Innsbruck is...

... the view of the mountains in the morning. I am still new in Innsbruck and completely in love with this sight - I hope it never ends!
