The Academy of Management is a professional association for scholars from the field of management. It was founded in 1936, whereby nowadays it accounts for about 20,000 professors and Ph.D. students in business schools at universities, academics in related social science and other fields, and practitioners who value knowledge its creation and application. The Academy of Management publishes several academic journals, organizes conferences, and provides others forums for management scholars and practitioners. It has various divisions and interest groups, focusing on established and emerging bodies of scholarship.
The Technology and Innovation Management Division (3,438 members) encourages interdisciplinary scholarship and dialogue on the management of innovation and technological change from a variety of perspectives, including strategic, managerial, behavioral, and operational issues. The problem domain includes the management of innovation, technology strategy, research and development, information technologies and the internet, technology-based entrepreneurship, process technologies, and the commercialization of scientific research.
This year, the Technology and Innovation Management division of the Academy of Management employed more than 500 reviewers for the Academy of Management conference. Out of these reviewers, only 16 were selected as recipients of the Best Reviewer Award based on quality of the feedback provided. We are pleased to let you know that Dr. Yevgen Bogodistov, lecturer at the Department of Business Administration Online, is one of these outstanding reviewers again this year. He has already received this award six times between 2017 and 2020.
