Date 2023-10-04

Interview with Simon Riegler

On September 18, we warmly welcomed Simon Riegler as the newest member of our Business Administration Online team. Simon is already a familiar face at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, having worked here as a student assistant in the past. Now stepping into the role of Assistant and Project Manager, Simon handles a variety of tasks including liaising with students regarding their exchange semesters and internships and offering assistance on courses. Here, Simon briefly introduces himself and shares his excitement for his new role.

What drew you to this role/company/industry?

Having started as a student assistant at MCI, I grew to know and deeply value the university and our team. This appreciation inspired my decision to continue being a part of this community.

What is your academic background?

I completed my bachelor's degree in German studies and went on to earn a master’s degree in media with a focus on corporate communication. During this time, I also served as a consultant for ÖH Innsbruck.

Is there a particular project or initiative you’re excited to work on?

Beyond my various responsibilities, I am particularly excited to assist with different didactic matters and address all media-related questions.

Outside of work, what are some of your favorite hobbies or activities?

Outside of work, I am an avid fan of classic literature and films. To stay active, I try to work out at least twice a week.

We are thrilled to have Simon as part of our team and look forward to achieving great things together!
