INTERVIEW WITH ANNA LENA KALTENBRUNNER

We are lucky to announce that Anna Lena Kaltenbrunner will be strengthening our team as project member. She will be working together with Antje Bierwisch on an exciting project in the area of the UNESCO-Chair in Futures Capability for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Anna also studies at MCI, and therefore knows her way around. We are excited to have you on our team for at least the coming five months.

What are some skills or strengths you bring to our team?

I would see my strengths in being fair, being able to make objective decisions, and using my logical thinking. Useful for the team could be my open and easygoing personality as well as my management skills and my passion for planning.

What’s something you’re hoping to accomplish in your new role here?

I aspire to become a crucial part of the project management team. Furthermore, I aim to enhance my theoretical knowledge with practical know-how as I continue to learn and grow in this role.

Can you tell us a little bit about the project you’re currently working on?

I am currently working on two projects the “Digitalisierung von implizitem Wissen – Nachhaltige Wertschöpfung durch wirksames und praktikables Wissens- und Kompetenzmanagement”, which focuses on Tyrolian companies and the “UNESCO-Chair in Futures Capability for Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. The knowledge and competence management project is about identifying the current challenges of companies in the context of digitalization and developing solution paths for knowledge and competence identification up to strategic implementation.

In the context of the UNESCO Chair, the focus is on the individual competence of future education. The competence enables individuals to use their imagination to actively deal with different futures, their ambiguities and contradictions, to anticipate changes at an early stage and to shape the associated future potential through innovative solutions.

What is one thing you love to do in your free time?

My favorite winter pastime is ski touring. Unfortunately, you can only do it in winter, so I'm looking forward to the next few months.

What’s a fun fact about you that people might not know/expect?

Until yesterday I thought I would have to sleep in my car while working and studying in Innsbruck. Luckily, I finally found an apartment.

Thank you, and we are looking forward to hearing a lot about the project and progressions.
