Start of Studies at the Department of Mechatronics

Date 2024-10-11

Around 90 students started their studies at the MCI Department of Mechatronics, including the new master's program Mechatronics – Automation, Robotics & AI

With the beginning of October, all students of the Department of Mechatronics are finally back on campus and the rooms at the MCI Campus Technology & Life Sciences in Innsbruck's Maximilianstraße are once again filled with life.

The first-semester students of the bachelor's and master's degree programs were welcomed to MCI at various kick-off events and received introductory information about the start of their studies.

The beginning of the semester also marked the start of the first year of the new part-time master's degree program in Mechatronics – Automation, Robotics & AI.

With classes held two days a week and a well-thought-out blended learning concept, combining face-to-face lectures with online teaching and assignments, this new program offers maximum flexibility as well as in-depth, practice-oriented knowledge in innovative engineering disciplines.

The Department of Mechatronics is looking forward to an exciting new semester and wishes all students a good start into the 2024/25 academic year!
