The ES challenge is an annual competition held in the Embedded Systems seminar of the bachelor’s study program mechatronics. At the end, only the best two projects in electrical engineering and medical engineering will win. However, not only do the students participate in the challenge, they also serve as jury to judge their competitors’ projects. Twelve groups (seven in medical engineering and five in electrical engineering) worked on their innovative projects for 2 ½ months and presented them in videos at the end of the semester.
The winners in electrical engineering are Christoph Oberladstätter and Lukas Juen, who developed a weather station. They received two oscilloscopes (ADALM2000) and powerbanks.
In medical engineering, the ECG device by Marcel Christian Baldemair, Martin Drexler, Carina Gögele und Christoph Raggl won the competition and three (r)evolution Board Kits BLE.
Congratulations to the winners!
