Head of Mechatronics Department Andreas Mehrle discusses Digital Twins and their possible use in tourism and cities of the future at the TECH Conference Summer Edition.

TECH Conference Europe 2021 - Virtual Edition is designed to bring innovation and compliance together through a variety of panel discussions and exclusive keynote presentations that are consistently attended by Europe's leading and emerging start-ups, SMEs and large corporations.

The conference series aims to reach out to European regions through a series of annual events. Particular focus is placed on the CEE, Baltic, Scandinavian and Southern European regions.

The two-day TECH Conference Europe Summer Edition 2021 took place on June 15 and 16.

On the second day of the event, program director Andreas Mehrle and other speakers were invited to discuss the possible future applications of digital twins in the field of tourism and in cities.

The respective universities dealing with this topic briefly presented their projects. Interesting perspectives and possibilities were discussed, as well as possible applications and future perspectives in the field of Digital Twins.
