MCI mentoring PAF-IAST

Representatives of the Pakistan University of Applied Sciences PAF-IAST spent two weeks as guests at the MCI in Innsbruck.

As an academic partner, the MCI Entrepreneurial University® is supervising the PAF-IAST (Pakistan Austria University of Applied Sciences - Institute of Applied Science and Technology). This applied type of university is new in a country with a population of 200 million. In addition to consulting in the structural and personnel areas, the MCI is also involved in a training program for young professors.

During a two-week visit to Innsbruck, the 24 participants were shown how research, teaching and business are linked. They also gained insights into efficient and modern university management.
In particular, contact is maintained with the Department of Chemical Engineering, where a sister course on environmental process and energy technology has been designed. This cooperation is designed for the long term and offers numerous exciting opportunities. MCI is looking forward to a strong cooperation with an applied university partner on the newly flourishing Silk Road.

During their stay in Tyrol, some colleagues from the Department of Chemical Engineering visited the wastewater treatment plant of the "Abwasserverband Achental - Inntal - Zillertal" in Strass together with MCI university lecturer Alexander Dumfort.

We leave our friends with the good feeling that they have the tools to achieve something great and new in their country and thus contribute to education, economic development and, not least, stabilization of the social situation.
