Kick-off for the updated joint European Master’s programme Eu-HEM

Date 2021-09-14

New Eu-HEM students started their first semester in Bologna with a welcome weekend

The European Health Economics & Management (Eu-HEM) Master’s degree offered by MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, the Universities of Bologna and Oslo, as well as Erasmus University Rotterdam offers both a multidisciplinary approach as well as the opportunity to specialize within your field of interest. Learning activities are organized in four semesters, for 120 credits in total. From this fall onwards, we are offering an updated program.

The harmonized first semester, which is taught at the University of Bologna, aims to acquire the basics relevant to the healthcare sector in the fields of economics, management, law, political science and research methods. Another distinct feature of the European Master’s is its immersion of four different areas of specialization available to students from the second semester: Management of Healthcare Institutions, Economic Evaluation in Healthcare, Economics & Policy, and Population Health Management.

The new students of the Eu-HEM program started their studies last week in Bologna with a Welcome Weekend. Besides the official program with an opening event, Q&A sessions and workshops, the students as well as the program coordinators had numerous opportunities to get to know the specialties of the country and the sights of the city during the last few days.
