European Health Forum Gastein 2022

Date 2022-10-05

MCI students participated in European Health Forum in Gastein

The European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) is one of the leading health policy conferences in Europe. The 25th edition of the conference took place in Bad Hofgastein from 26 to 29 September 2022.

Students from the master's degrees “International Health & Social Management” and “European Health Economics & Management” attended the conference onsite and represented the Entrepreneurial School®.

In addition to exciting lectures and interesting discussions on current health policy developments, the European Health Forum in Gastein provided the ideal setting for students to come into contact with decision-makers and establish an initial network.

Students were able to attend sessions on the following topics:
- Co-benefits through health promotion
- Controlling a pandemic by controlling people?
- Designing tomorrow’s EU Global Health Strategy
- One Health – what does it mean for people?

During the project pitch session, the students themselves were challenged to present their practical projects, which they are working on as part of the course "Real-Life Simulation", in front of a jury. A great opportunity to get feedback directly from experts.

We also thank the ÖH MCI for supporting this study trip!
