The Sustainability Award is announced for the following topics

  3. structural anchoring
  4. student initiatives
  5. administration & management
  6. communication & decision making
  7. regional cooperation

In the student initiatives category, our International Business & Management master's graduate Gregor Wechner, BA MA was able to achieve third place with his master thesis. This is about "railOn", a travel platform that makes train travel more accessible. "railOn" offers youth and young adults customizable rail travel throughout Europe and is an alternative to air travel and all-inclusive offers that is in line with the spirit of the times. The title of the submitted project is Preferences for Travel Decisions in Generation Z.

We sincerely congratulate Gregor and are pleased that his innovative, sustainable idea has received such recognition.

Bernd Kirschner, Head of the Master program International Business & Management: "We are very pleased with this award. We extend our warmest congratulations to Gregor Wechner. And we are proud that our students and graduates are so committed and develop sustainable solutions for problems of our society."
