MCI project with BTV on digital banking platforms

Date 2023-03-23

Win-win through future-oriented cooperation with business partners

As part of the long-standing partnership between BTV and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, together we initiated the project "Design of a Digital Banking Platform for Corporate Clients" in October 2022.

The project, led by BTV and with the participation of students from the master's program "International Business & Management", ran until the end of February 2023 with a clear focus on customer centricity and innovative thinking. The core of the project was a cross-sector survey of companies from Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Italy. BTV's corporate clients also took part in the survey. The aim was to determine the requirements and expectations that corporate customers will have of a digital banking platform in the future. In particular, the different needs of executives and managers were identified.

The initial results of the survey are promising and represent a valuable contribution as well as starting points for the successful further development of our digital roadmap. They will be incorporated into further analyses and measures. We thank BTV for their trust and look forward to further successful cooperation.

Bridging university & business

Following MCI’s mission of being an Entrepreneurial School®, our department Business & Management continuously tries to expand its network of business partners and offers several possibilities to cooperate: from practice labs on Bachelor or Master level, in German or English, to research projects conducted within our research labs by our professors and faculty members. We are able to respond to their individual needs.

Our goal is to bridge university and business and to achieve a win-win situation through collaboration and exchange of ideas. Being the largest and oldest department at MCI, we are proud of our long track record of successful cooperations. In past projects, our business partners have benefitted from collaborating with us by getting innovative, profound and methodologically sound solutions for their practical problems without investing excessive internal resources.
