Students of the Master’s Program Biotechnology end the semester with a virtual field trip

At the end of the 3rd semester, Christoph Griesbeck, head of the Biotechnology Master's program, usually plans a field trip to Roche, sited in Penzberg. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain an exclusive insight into a possible field of work. Due to the current situation, the excursion was not possible on site as usual. Everyone involved got creative and created an exciting alternative program that students participated in online.

Ulrike Strauss started by introducing the Roche site in Penzberg and reported on the history of the site, current developments in research and development, and the products manufactured there.
