With an increase of 40 architects, ATP architects engineers, headquartered in Innsbruck, climbed to 14th place in the ranking of the study "Building Design's annual survey of the top global practices" by the renowned magazine "Building Design" (BD). In 2020, for the first time in the company's history, ATP was listed in the top 20 of the world's 100 largest architectural practices in 19th place, and this year, the company was able to move up another five places.

On European soil, only the industry colleagues from Sweco (4th place) rank ahead of ATP. The next-ranked European architectural firms are HPP Architekten (Germany, 24th), White Arkitekter (Sweden, 26th) and GMP Architekten (Germany, 28th). In terms of order volume, ATP rises to first place in Western Europe, while remaining in a strong second place in Central and Eastern Europe. ATP thus positions itself as the market leader in Western Europe and offers attractive career opportunities, for example as a partner of the dual degree program "Smart Building Technologies" at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®. This offers students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in this successful company during the three-year study and work phases.

The Innsbruck-based office achieved its greatest success by planning sector in the fields of "Science and Technology" (see Terminal 2/ Berlin-Brandenburg Airport) and “Retail” (see Shopping Center ALEJA). ATP is also in the top 10 in each of the service fields "Consulting", "Environment", "Engineering" and “Construction Management”.

This upward trend can be attributed, among other things, to the establishment of the new ATP location in Hamburg last year. As a result, the ATP Group now operates five overall planning offices in Germany and a total of eleven in DACH (= Germany, Austria (A) & Switzerland (CH)) and CEE (= Central Eastern Europe).
