At this year's ARCHITECTS' DARLING Awards, HELLA, one of the leading European companies in the sun and weather protection industry, impressed the jury and took home one of the coveted prizes. The "We Design Cool Shadows" subject of the current campaign won the award in the "Best Advertisement" category.
Since 2011, the ARCHITECTS' DARLING Awards, known as the "Oscars of the construction industry", have been presented annually to outstanding companies. As part of a festive gala in Celle, Lower Saxony, the "best performers" in the construction industry were once again selected in various categories this year by organizer Heinze Marktforschung. The jury awards were presented by a high-caliber panel of over 70 experts from renowned architecture firms.
HELLA was delighted to receive the golden jury award for the best advertisement. Managing Partner Andreas Kraler explains: "With the campaign and the subject 'We Design Cool Shadows', we are showcasing our image as a premium supplier. HELLA's high design and quality standards also apply to our advertising. I am delighted that the advertisement has now also been recognized at the prestigious ARCHITECTS' DARLING Awards, because architects are one of HELLA's most important target groups. This award confirms our approach of using a sustainable advertising strategy to increase our brand awareness and consolidate our positioning."
Under the slogan "We Design Cool Shadows", HELLA marketing manager Pamela Wieser and the Austrian creative agency gantnerundenzi developed a sophisticated interplay between light and shadow, bright and dark, outdoors and indoors. The campaign reflects the high technical and aesthetic standards of HELLA's product lines. HELLA was able to win over Swiss film producer Richy Hafner/Maybaum Film/Polymorph Pictures and star photographer Jork Weismann for the realization. The subject can be seen in the DACH region and in Italy in consumer and trade media as well as special interest magazines.
