The dual study program Smart Building Technologies can look forward to a new cooperation partnership: from fall 2025, the Kematen-based planning and construction management office “Baupuls GmbH” will also be offering a training position in the multi-faceted field of intelligent building technology at MCI.
CEO Patrick Weber emphasizes the surplus value of the dual training concept at MCI: “We construct buildings that work like power stations. This means that they generate more energy than is needed to operate the building. With ‘Smart Building’, we increase comfort for users, as they can easily monitor and control their building technology. At the same time, we massively improve energy efficiency and thus construct sustainable, CO₂-free buildings.”
About the partner company:
Baupuls is a planning and construction management office located in Kematen. The company building “Planquartier” is a showcase project for an energy-plus building with maximum energy efficiency and CO₂-free operation.
Baupuls currently employs 20 people and has completed around 600 projects over the past ten years, mainly in industrial construction. The scope of services includes all aspects of architecture and project development, cost estimates and profitability calculations, as well as tendering and local construction supervision.
Since its foundation in 1999, the company has been under the leadership of Managing Director Patrick Weber, who is setting another entrepreneurial milestone at the cutting edge of construction technology with this new cooperation.
