Prior to my departure for Spain in mid-January 2021, I probably wouldn't have thought it possible that - despite the unfortunately still ongoing Corona pandemic - I would have such an exciting and great time ahead of me. But that's exactly what I've been able to experience for more than 3 months now, which are characterized by great people from all over the world, extraordinary journeys and a multi-faceted culture.
The Andalusian diversity doesn't make it difficult - the region offers so much to discover: from city trips to Córdoba, Sevilla and Guadix to beach stays in Málaga, Almería and Salobreña to a ski weekend in the Sierra Nevada, there's already a lot on the agenda.
But above all, Granada itself is a city to fall in love with: enjoying the famous tapas culture, watching sunsets on one of the many "miradores" or strolling through the magical neighborhoods of Albaicín and Sacromonte, you can really immerse yourself in Spanish culture!
Recently, the switch to semi-presence at the university has also made it possible for us to meet lecturers, Erasmus students and fellow Spanish students in person, offering us an even more "normal" and exciting Erasmus!
I am already looking forward to the second half of my Erasmus period with joy, but also wistfully, and I am sure that Granada and Andalusia still have so many more things in store!
