MCI tourism anniversary alumni reunited after pandemic break

This year, after a three-year break, MCI Tourism invited those graduates who completed their studies 5, 10 and 15 years ago to the traditional anniversary event as part of the MCI Alumni Weekend. This year more than 140 alumni/alumnae accepted the invitation and gathered in the former lecture rooms at the MCI Tourism campus last Friday after being welcomed by Rector Andreas Altmann.

After the guests arrived, Head of the department Hubert Siller welcomed the alumnae and alumni and gave a short speech with some anecdotes. He also reported on current developments at MCI Tourism and praised the excellent cooperation with MCI graduates in the context of excursions, research projects and teaching.Prof. Anita Zehrer (Head of the MCI Family Business Center) and long-time MCI Tourism Professor Anna Maria Pircher-Friedrich also participated in the event.

Later at the get-together, the guests reminisced about their studies at MCI and updated each other on their professional careers, while enjoying the specially branded MCI sparkling wine and more.

Dear graduates: It was a pleasure welcoming you to the MCI Alumni Weekend and celebrating this anniversary reunion with you in such a grand way. We are already looking forward to the next anniversary reunion!
