Start of first semester for 56 part-time students at the Department of Industrial Engineering & Management

Date 2022-09-19

We warmly welcome our 56 part-time students to their first semester at MCI

The compatibility of career, family, personal development and further education are values that students of part-time study programs are eager to achieve.

This year, 16 students decided to enroll in the part-time Bachelor's program, and 38 in the part-time Master's program. Their first semester has started in early September 2022.

Subsequently, the course "Potential & Personality", as part of the field "Key Competencies", has started. The focus here is on team building, reflection and individual development.

Master's students start their studies with the course "Material Selection". Here, among other things, students deal with the questions, such as "How can production processes be made more CO2 friendly?" and  "What does sustainable material selection look like and which criteria for material selection are important in resource-saving procurement?"

The entire team at the Department of Industrial Engineering & Management wishes all first-year students a great start for their studies and a successful first year!
