Semester start for 42 students in Industrial Engineering & Management

Date 2022-10-10

Welcome to the 42 first-year students in the Industrial Engineering and Management program

This fall semester, 38 male and 4 female first-year students are starting their studies in Industrial Engineering and Management. Prof. Dr. Gerhard Hillmer provided the students an in-depth insight into their chosen study program, career prospects and basic organizational information that will guide the students through the academic year.

Following the semester introduction, exciting courses already await our students. For example, the course "Design & CAD" covers theoretical basics as well as practical application and ends in the independent creation of 3D CAD components and assemblies.

In addition, the first semester includes courses, such as Technical Mechanics, Materials Science and Introduction to Business Administration, which concludes with a business simulation game.

The entire team at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management wishes all first-year students a great start to their studies and a successful first year!
