The three-day course in the Master's program "Entrepreneurship & Tourism" entitled Sustainable Destination Development "Post Corona" dealt with post-corona trends and their effects on service providers and DMOs as well as the tasks, strategies and communication of DMOs.In addition to the distinguished guest, Federal Minister Elisabeth Köstinger, other renowned tourism experts such as Petra Stolba (CEO Österreich Werbung), Andreas Reiter (CEO Zukunftsbüro), Renate Ecker (Tourism Director Zell am See-Kaprun), Oliver Schwarz (Managing Director Ötztal Tourism), Franz Tschiderer (Chairman TVB Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis) and Julia Vögele and Patricio Hetfleisch (Tirol Tourist Board) together with MCI Team Hubert Siller, Anita Zehrer and Frieda Raich.
The participants also worked on the following general questions within the framework of the LV:
What developments will shape the future of destinations and DMOs? Which actors must work together to ensure the future viability of destinations and what recommendations for action can be derived from this?
