Since we had arrived here in Vancouver at the end of December, we can now look back on more than three months full of exciting experiences and adventures. Even though our courses were still online in the first few weeks, we were able to identify with the content and teaching methods right from the start. Fortunately, we have now switched to face-to-face teaching and are really enjoying being back on campus to connect with new people while enjoying the unique view of the Vancouver skyline.
Thanks to the fact that we are staying in the student residence, we have already met many students from all over the world and have already experienced many things together. From hikes through snowy landscapes or the rainforest to spectacular sunsets by the sea and trips to downtown - Vancouver offers endless possibilities for leisure activities. Besides, we already realized in the first few days that the cliché of the friendly "Vancouverites" is absolutely not exaggerated. One thing that the semester abroad has taught us in particular is that spontaneous decisions and trying something completely new usually lead to the most memorable experiences.
