Pepperdine Graziadio Business School is perfectly situated in hills with a beautiful view over the sea. The campus offers many opportunities for personal, academic and professional development programs, sports, networking, culinary arts, fairs and much more.
The daily study routine can be compared to the one at MCI Tourism. The professors are very approachable and interested. You get an incredible amount of support and everyone is included. The class groups are very small and international, so you can get involved and learn different and new approaches. In class, we explore future-oriented contents, work in projects and get practical insights from our professors' lives.
Of course, sightseeing is a must during a semester abroad in California. I have already visited Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Catalina Island, Highway One between San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Lost Coast, San Francisco, Santa Barabara, Sacramento and, of course, Los Angeles itself.
My biggest challenges during my stay here in L.A. so far have definitely been the housing market and transportation, as everything is incredibly expensive and the campus is very far away from Venice/Santa Monica, where most of us live.
What will I personally get out of this semester abroad?
