Successful kick-off for the Medical & Health Technologies students.
On Monday, the 04. October 2021, 60 students were welcomed to the innovative Medical & Health Technologies degree programmes.
In addition to the existing Master’s degree program Medical Technologies, the associated Bachelor’s degree program “Medical, Health and Sports Engineering” has now started for the first time.
On Monday, October 04, 2021, Dr. Alexander Hörbst and his team welcomed 20 new Master’s students and 40 new Bachelor’s students at MCI IV. The first day began with an introductory event in which the MCI and the respective study program, as well as the organizational framework conditions, were presented. In addition, there was an introduction to the MCI e-campus, a presentation of the ÖH-MCI, and the various services offered by MCI. A guided tour of the MCI's technology site rounded off the welcome event. The Master's students started on the same day with the exciting lectures "Active & Assisted Living" and "Applied Robotics". For the Bachelor students, the courses began on the following day. Therefore, on their first day, they had the opportunity to get to know each other and explore the city of Innsbruck.
